We want to help you find the best independent coffee shops in beautiful Scotland - quickly and easily, whether you're online or offline. Your location will show up on our map alongside the the best coffee shops. You can choose the coffee shop that suits your style and mood based on the rating, review and photo.

We started off just focusing this app on Edinburgh's specialty coffee shops but we've now expanded to include all of Scotland. We're now busily adding lots more great coffee shops to the app, at no extra cost. As more shops are loaded up, we'll also upgrade the app's functionality so it's easier to navigate.

When you open the app for the first time, it quickly downloads all the coffee shop information to your phone or tablet.

You will see a list of coffee shops around you - those closest to you are at the top of the list. You can also see our informed rating for each coffee shop.

When you tap the name of a coffee shop, you see a photo, review and link to the location on the map. This map works even when you're offline - so after you've opened the app the first time, you can use it all day without needing to reconnect to the internet or mobile network. The review outlines the coffee brew method(s) available, the 'coolness' factor and an overview of the food menu.

You can switch between the shop review and map quickly and easily - so you can decide which coffee shop to go to, based on the location and review, and find your way using the map.

Once you've decided which coffee shop you like best, you can share it with your friends via Facebook, Twitter, message or email. A perfect way to arrange a catch up with friends.

This is a great app for visitors and residents alike, and is updated regularly when new high quality, specialty coffee shops open.
